Honeytown Band is a four-piece acoustic mix of creative musicians from the Kidron, Ohio area. Their combination of original compositions, unexpected arrangements and tight harmonies have endeared them to audiences from rural barn parties, festivals, downtown theaters, conferences and church functions. They have performed four times at the Sing Me High music festival in Harrisonburg, Virginia and have collaborated with choirs seven times for Carol Barnett’s The World Beloved: A Bluegrass Mass. In 2009, they were the music team for the Mennonite Assembly in Columbus, Ohio. Varied instrumentation including fiddle, mandolin, banjo, bass ukulele, accordion and an assortment of percussion makes their music an unpredictable mix of raw, unfiltered, organic acoustic music! Members are Tim Shue, Kevin Himes, Nate Gunay and Toby Hazlett.
