Kristin Kauffman is a graduate of Goshen College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education. She is a Choral Director with the Goshen College Community School of the Arts, conducting the Rejoice Children’s Choir for 3rd through 5th graders and the Sommo Voci Choir for high school singers. She also teaches private voice lessons at Goshen High School and Fairfield Jr./Sr. High School in Goshen, IN. She formerly served as Choral Director at Central Noble High School and Middle School in Albion, IN where she also provided private voice instruction and taught courses in Music Theory and Musical Theater. Beyond the classroom, Kristin is an adjudicator with the Indiana State School Music Association, a guest song leader for area retreats and conferences, a soprano soloist, and a clinician who was selected by the Indiana Music Education Association as the guest conductor for the Circle the State with Song Elementary Choral Festival. Kristin resides with her husband Travis and children Lauren and Lawson (when they are home from Eastern Mennonite University) in Goshen, IN. She is a member of Belmont Mennonite Church in Elkhart, IN where she serves as Chairperson of the Worship Commission and is active in music leadership.
